The cost of domiciliary care
Dear Halton Borough Council,
Will the monthly charge be invoiced to the receiver of domiciliary care.
Will the monthly charge be invoiced to the receiver of any services or equipment relating to care.
Will the receiver of any services or equipment for care, where the receiver does not have funds to pay but holds equities more than the sum permitted by Government be given a monthly invoice, with accrued costs.
If a receiver of services for care has part ownership of a property. Will the other part owner be free to sell the property and use the full sum obtained to down size due to poor health.
What yearly interest will be charged on monies outstanding after death of the receiver of care. If the receiver of care had a dependant with no part ownership living in the property, will the interest on monies outstanding continue till the value of the property is exhausted.
Will the government’s permitted amount of retention of asset value be applicable after death.

Will any outstanding debt to the council for the provision of domiciliary care and residential care (interest and or invoiced costs) be limited so as to leave £14,250 to the person’s estate.
