Dear Ms Macarthur,

Thank you for your information request. It would seem from the questions
that you have asked that you are interested in doing business with
Haringey Council. Information about how we buy goods, services, works and
utilities can be found on our web site by following this link:
[1]http://www.haringey.gov.uk/index/business.

For all businesses interested in supplying to the Council, we now
advertise all contract opportunities over £5,000 (with the exception of
construction) through “CompeteFor”. Registration is free and bidders will
only have to input their data once, after which they will be able to apply
for any number of opportunities. Suppliers are strongly recommended to
register with this website as alerts are sent to businesses whose profiles
match with new opportunities as they arise. You can register by following
this link: [2]https://www.competefor.com/business/sign...

The Contracts Register, on the Council Contracts webpage, provides a list
of all existing Council contracts.
[3]http://www.haringey.gov.uk/business/grow...

The Contracts Register is a list of all current council contracts over
£10,000 and all framework agreements. The register is updated quarterly.

In addition, we always advertise new opportunities on our Council
Contracts webpage:
[4]http://www.haringey.gov.uk/index/busines...
However, we recommend suppliers sign up to CompeteFor to avoid the need to
check for updates.

For information about the recruitment and supply of permanent and
temporary workers please see our [5]Recruitment and People page.

We have not dealt with your enquiry as a formal Freedom of Information Act
request at this stage. Having considered the information that is available
on our website you may want to consider submitting a specific request for
copies of information held by the council.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Haringey Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'The contract Haringey has with Veolia'.

You have not responded to my request wrongly assuming I am a contractor. You know full well I am not as I have placed FOI with you before.
I am not a contractor so I would like a copy of the contract Haringey has with Veolia, regarding refuse collection as well as the other points I have in my original request link below.

Dear Ms Macarthur

Freedom of Information / Environmental Information Regulations Request:
LBH/7886418

Thank you for your further email regarding your Freedom of Information
request relating to Veolia environmental services. I do apologise
that your email dated 19th September 2018 was incorrectly considered to be
from a contractor and our standard response to contractors was sent to
you. You have requested an internal review of our reply. We are unable to
comply with your request for an internal review of this case because  your
request for information had not been treated as a formal FOI.

Your request for information will now be dealt with in accordance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 / Environmental Information Regulations
and we will send the response by 2nd January 2018

Yours sincerely,

Dear Ms Macarthur,
Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/7886418

Thank you for your request for information received on 27 November 2018, in which you asked for the following and to which my answers are pasted below:

1) the current contract that Haringey has with Veolia
This is commercially sensitive so I cannot supply the full contract, however the contract is for integrated waste management covering waste collection, street cleansing, fleet management and winter maintenance and is for 14 years.

2) the date the 1st contract was given
The contract was awarded in 2011.

3) the start date of the current contract
2011.

3) the dates past and future of any reviews in the current contract
Contract performance is under constant review with formal meetings monthly.

If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request you can ask us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the Feedback and Information Team. (Please note you should do so within two months of this response.)

Yours sincerely,

Ian Kershaw
