The charge sheet for David Ian Barnett

stephen hudson made this Freedom of Information request to General Dental Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear General Dental Council,

On 2nd June 2015, Sir Peter Bottomley MP said the following in the House

"On health, I have the case of Dr David Barnett, a good dentist in my constituency, who was reported to the dental regulators on trumped-up charges and has not been able to practice for over six months."

Why is the charge sheet for Dr Barnett not presently available on the GDC website. Due to the growing controversy with this case (and trust me it is presently the subject of many a social media thread), and with the controversy with the recent Singh case, can the GDC appreciate how unhelpful it looks for the details of the case to be invisible

Yours faithfully,

Stephen Hudson
