The amount of people who are currently on you social housing waiting lists

We're waiting for Sarah Northcott to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Exeter City Council,
Please could you confirm the data you have surrounding the amount of people you have on you social housing waiting lists. Could you confirm this for the year 2016-2017 if possible. If however you do not have these, please could you provide the most up to date ones you have. I am only wanting the information of people awaiting a property, not the people who are already housed with yourselves and needing a bigger house etc.

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Northcott

Bainbridge, Carrie-Anne,

Thank you for your request for information.

I can advise that on 22 February, there were 1,719 households on the
Exeter register. Of those, 681 are already social housing tenants
including 349 Exeter City Council tenants.

Unfortunately the reporting system will only provide a snapshot of the
current figures, so I am unable to provide historical data, other than
that which is available in the quarterly monitoring reports on the 'useful
information' page of the Devon Home Choice website:

to request a review of either our decision, or the way your request has
been handled, please write to the Council's Corporate Manager at the
address below. Your request will be considered in line with our Review
Procedure. Full details of this procedure, including your right of appeal
to the Information Commissioner, are available in our access to
