Thamesfield Way Site & Trafalgar College
Dear Inspiration Trust,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to enquire the following information about Inspiration Trust's Thamesfield Way site in Great Yarmouth.
I would like to request:
1. How much money was spent on the project to convert the Thamesfield Way site into a suitable location for Trafalgar College?
2. As part of the potential merge of Trafalgar College with Great Yarmouth Charter Academy on Sailsbury Road what are Inspiration Trust's plans for the Thamesfield Way site?
Many thanks in advance.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Josh Coles
Dear Mr Coles,
I acknowledge receipt of your email of November 1, requesting information
relating to Trafalgar College. I have dealt with your requests in turn
below.
1. How much money was spent on the project to convert the Thamesfield Way
site into a suitable location for Trafalgar College?
Funding for the premises of a free school such as Trafalgar College is
provided and managed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
As a result, the Inspiration Trust does not hold information on the total
cost to convert the site and we are unable to answer this question.
2. As part of the potential merge of Trafalgar College with Great Yarmouth
Charter Academy on Salisbury Road what are Inspiration Trust's plans for
the Thamesfield Way site?
Our plans for the Thamesfield Way site have already been published as part
of our consultation on the proposed merger,
here: [1]http://www.inspirationtrust.org/gyconsul...
As such, they fall under the Section 21 exemption (information accessible
by other means).
I trust this satisfies your request. If you are unhappy with the response
provided, you may ask for an internal review. To request an internal
review, please write to:
Head of Governance

giving the reasons for your dissatisfaction.
If you do not agree with the outcome of the internal review, you may lodge
an appeal with the Information Commissioner ([2]www.ico.org.uk).
The Information Commissioner can consider complaints about any
aspect of the way in which requests for information have been handled,
however the Information Commissioner would be unlikely to consider your
complaint if you have not first requested an internal review.
You can write to the Information Commissioner at:
