TfL Rail Daily Usage Statistics 2018
Dear Transport for London,
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This information is the daily entry and exit statistics of all stations on the Underground and Overground lines , including the DLR, and, if possible, the usage of the national rail stations within the London travel area (the entry and exit data for individual days). I would prefer to have the data in electronic format in spreadsheet form, ideally an Microsoft Excel document.
The days I would like to request the specified data above for would be between the: 01/09/2018-31/12/2018.
Yours faithfully,
Sam Morgan

Dear FOI,
Thank you for sending me the information. However was the information supposed to be in a .csv file? The file name ends in .csv.txt hence I have a .txt file, therefore my questioning of if a .csv file was the intended state? Is it possible to send the file as a .csv file rather than a .txt file as this would make using this data easier to use?
Yours sincerely,
Sam Morgan
Thanks for your email.
The file was sent as a .csv file (not a text one). I have checked the sent response and can confirm the format.
I have reattached the file in case there was some form of glitch. If it is again a text file only, I can only assume it is a problem with the What Do They Know site, and would suggest you provide us with a direct email address we can send this file to. If necessary, you can contact us direct at FOI @ tfl.gov.uk (no spaces).
Kind regards
FOI Case Management Team
Dear FOI,
Unfortunately it is still a .txt file, seemingly a glitch with the website. If possible my university email address is: [email address] which can be used to send the data to.
Thanks for your cooperation
Yours sincerely,
Sam Morgan
