text of bylaws

The request was successful.

Dear Freedom of Information Officer,

Thank you for the response from your Council on 13 August informing me that there are bylaws under 9 headings currently in force in the City of Oxford, with copies held by the Legal and Democratic Services of your Council.

Would you please provide a copy of all the bylaws in force?

Again, many thanks.

Sincerely,

Dr Kaihsu Tai

HUGHES Martin, Oxford City Council

Dear Dr. Tai,
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.
Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying.

The bylaws are not on the website and we would,
therefore, have to scan all of the bylaws to enable them to be sent,
which will take more than the 18 hours' work specified under the Act.
We are starting to do this work, however, and we will be in touch with
the information you have requested as soon as possible.

I hope this assists, but if you disagree with any part
of this response you are entitled to ask Oxford City Council for an
internal review of the decision(s) made. You may do this by writing to
The Monitoring Officer, Oxford City Council, The Town Hall, Blue Boar
Street, Oxford, OX1 4EY. If, after the result of an internal review, you
are still not satisfied, you may ask the Information Commissioner to
intervene on your behalf. You may do this by writing to The Information
Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire,
SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Hughes,

Thank you for starting to prepare your response to my request beyond the statutory requirements. I really appreciate it and look forward to receiving your response.

I trust that the digitalization (scanning) of the text of bylaws will be useful for the Council’s work in the long run.

Again, many thanks for your kind consideration.

Sincerely,

Kaihsu Tai

Dear Mr Hughes,

Thank you again for starting to digitize (scan) the text of the city bylaws for me. Would you please notify me of the progress? Many thanks.

Sincerely,

Kaihsu Tai

Dear Mr Hughes,

Thank you for your response to my request. Sorry to trouble you again. Though I received 9 attached files with your message, all of them seemed to be identical (except for their names) with the content being the the text of the bylaw on touting.

Sincerely,

Kaihsu Tai
