Olaf van Der Deilgkrause

Dear Yorkshire Water Services Limited,

If you are not willing or able to disclose the information of tap water tests how can we be satisfied and fully informed that you are doing your job appropriately?

Can you provide a generic sample? An average mean of what you might expect to find in any given sample? (My postcode is WF11)

We know there are carcinogenic chemicals potentially in the water supply, for example
trihalomethanes which legally shouldn't exceed 100µg/l (if I understand correctly), then how are we Joe public to be assured that you are not poisoning us? Do you expect us to trust you with blind faith, in spite of rule 101 of any kind of contract is that both parties must be fully informed? So if you do not do such a test in such a postcode what proof do we have that you are fit for purpose??

What water filtration /purification systems do you actually employ?

(Is our infrastructure Victorian? When was the last resovior you built?)

It's been academically established for at least 20 years that chlorine and Trihalomethane can be removed by activated carbon filter, this is a very intelligent and cost effective method of purfiying water. since I've converted people to using charcoal waters the quality of our drinking has improved and no one has stopped. Why am I having to filter the water at home isn't this your job?

Yours faithfully,

Olaf van Der Deilgkrause
