Tendring Borough Council builds in Colchester.

Dear Colchester Borough Council,
Tendring Borough Council regards the edge of Colchester as a town within Tendring called 'Colchester Fringe'. This area covers the Salary Brook development and the development on the old Betts site off Ipswich Road.
The new residents that are to be homed within the built up area of Colchester that resides in Tendring are going to need basic services.
In regards to the new Betts residents could you tell me please:

* Who is going to collect the council tax from these Tendring based residents?

* What primary school, secondary school, hospital, GP and dentist are these new users being provided in the Tendring district?

* What primary school, secondary school, hospital, GP and dentist are these new users being provided in the Colchester district?

* Who is going to collect the waste?

* If Colchester is to be providing any services to these residents then what proportion of the collected council tax will be given to Colchester to cover these services?

In regards to the new Betts residents could you tell me please:

* Who is going to collect the council tax from these Tendring based residents?
Tendring District Council will collect Council Tax from the residents in the part of the development which is in their district.

* What primary school, secondary school, hospital, GP and dentist are these new users being provided in the Tendring district?
This information is not held as these services are not financed or provided by district councils.

* What primary school, secondary school, hospital, GP and dentist are these new users being provided in the Colchester district?
This information is not held as these services are not financed or provided by district councils.

* Who is going to collect the waste?
Currently the position is that waste will collected by each council from the part of the development which is in their district.

* If Colchester is to be providing any services to these residents then what proportion of the collected council tax will be given to Colchester to cover these services?
Colchester Borough Council is not at present planning to provide any services to residents in the part of the Betts site which is in Tendring District.
