Further to your request for information made under the provisions of the
above Act, please see below the response we received from our Highways
Team.
Request:
Please provide details of Temporary traffic regulation orders
(specifically, lowered speed limits during Roadworks) for a683, Heysham
for 2014 and evidence of valid signage during mobile speed camera
operations during this time.
Response:
Please find attached copies of 2 signed temporary traffic regulations,
which reduced the existing speed restriction from 50 mph to a temporary 30
mph.
The order ending "H2M6" was made to ensure safe working whilst works were
undertaken on the Heysham Link Road.
The order ending "wind farm" was to made to unsure that abnormal load
deliveries could be made to Heysham Wind Farm
We are unable to give evidence of any signage with regards to mobile
enforcement as this was undertaken by Lancashire Constabulary and they
would have placed their signs accordingly. Contact details on how to make
