Temporary Promotions within Dept for Communities

Department for Communities (Northern Ireland) did not have the information requested.

Please provide me with the following information regarding Department for Communities

a. the number of staff currently on temporary promotion within your department,
b. of this number please specify their area within the department, their substantive grade, the temporary grade as well as the current duration they have been temporary promoted. Also advise how long this temporary promotion is likely to continue for.
c. advise which steps have been taken to fill these posts to by officers at the substantive grade, and if longer than 6 months, the reasons for continuing to keep them filled by temporary promotions.

NICS HR, the centralised HR function for the Northern Ireland Civil
Service, was established on 3 April 2017, bringing together core HR
functions including those previously delivered through Corporate HR,
Departmental HR, Centre for Applied Learning and Job Evaluation analysts.
Any requests relating to an HR function should be sent, in the first
instance, to NICS HR.
