Temporary Housing Providers
Dear Croydon Borough Council,
Are there any residential blocks/housing estates/streets which have over 30 households in temporary accommodation managed by a single housing provider/ landlord (including the council itself)? What are the names of these residential blocks/housing estates and what roads are they on?
Are those properties leased by and/or managed by an external housing provider/ management company, or by the Council directly?
If it is an external provider what are the names of those housing providers or management companies and which blocks are they responsible for? When did these contracts/leases start and when are they up for renewal/ending? Who sets the rent under these contracts/leases and what are they per week? How many properties are these contracts for?
If the properties are directly managed by the Council, what are the rents per week?

We are just emailing you to update you on your open Information Request.
We are currently in the process of updating our systems and part of this
update will mean that your open Information Request has been assigned a
new reference: FOI/6401

Unfortunately, the Council is currently experiencing a delay in our
response times due to demand and resource. As an organisation we are aware

has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Specifically, you have requested the following information:
Are there any residential blocks/housing estates/streets which have over

All the above properties are manged by external housing provider.
Are those properties leased by and/or managed by an external housing
provider/ management company, or by the Council directly?
Caridon is managing Sutherland Quarters, Russell Way, Crawley, RH10 1ET
and
Theori was managing the properties till 30/11/2022 at 1A Peall Road,
Croydon, Surrey, CR0 3BX
Caridon taken over the managing on 01/12/2022 1A Peall Road, Croydon,
Surrey, CR0 3BX
If it is an external provider what are the names of those housing
providers or management companies and which blocks are they responsible
for? When did these contracts/leases start and when are they up for
renewal/ending? Who sets the rent under these contracts/leases and what
are they per week? How many properties are these contracts for?
Sutherland Quarters, Russell Way, Crawley, RH10 1ET leases started
01/11/2019 and we are in the process of handing them back hopefully by
August 2023.
1A Peall Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 3BX the lease started 01/06/2018 and
was managed by Theori. Changed provider to Caridon as of 01/12/2022.
Under the PLA scheme all the leases are open ended.
The rent is based on the property size and the LHA rate at the time the
leases where signed .
Sutherland Quarters £258.63 Per week. We have currently 27 properties out
of 30 due to 3 was handed back recently.
1A Peall Road £241.37 per week. We have currently 39 properties
If the properties are directly managed by the Council, what are the rents
