Between the dates of Friday 8th July 2016 and Sunday 10th July 2016 inclusive a temporary event was held on a part of the premises of Falmer Auctions, New Barn, East Street, Falmer, BN1 9PB. The designated area for that event and the licensable activities carried on was the car park of those premises.

The licensable activities carried on at that event included the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises.

Please supply the following information:

1. Is Lewes District Council the Licensing Authority for the area in which the premises which held the event are situated?

2. Is Lewes District Council the local authority exercising environmental health functions for the area in which the premises which held the event are situated?

3. Did Lewes District Council receive an application for a Temporary Event Notice with respect to the stated event?

4. Did Lewes District Council issue a Temporary Event Notice with respect to the stated event?

5. If a Temporary Event Notice was issued with respect to the stated event please state:
i) The name of the person to whom it was issued
ii) The reference number of that Temporary Event Notice

6. Would any local authority other than Lewes District Council have the authority to issue a Temporary Event Notice with respect to the stated premises?

7. With reference to question 6 which other local authorities would have the authority to issue a Temporary Event Notice with respect to those premises?
