TANNER Eleanor 90526, Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner

Dear Ms Petherick
Further to your request below to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, please could you confirm that you intended to email this office? The Office of the police and crime commissioner does not recruit police staff, including 999 call handlers. It is the Devon and Cornwall Police Force that will hold information relevant to agency useage and spend relating to call handlers and all other police support personnel.

The Office of the police and crime commissioner does hold information relating to the staff that support the Police and Crime Commissioner, for information you can refer to our website to find out more about the OPCC team.

Please let me know if you require your request to be dealt with in relation to the staff supporting the police and crime commissioner's office.

Many thanks

Eleanor

Nadia Petherick

Dear Ms Tanner,

Thank you for your response.

I am unsure if I have now contacted the right department, I was not looking to recruit police staff I was enquiring about office based staff carrying out administration type duties. Are you able to advise how you would recruit for these type of roles? If not are you able to advise who is best to contact in regards to this?

Thank you in advance.

Yours sincerely,

Nadia Petherick

TANNER Eleanor 90526, Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner

Dear Nadia
Thanks for your email.
For clarification, are you asking about staff that are employed by Devon and Cornwall Police, or staff employed by the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner? These are two entirely separate organisations.

For information, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is an office of approximately 18.7 FTE staff, whilst the Devon and Cornwall Police is a much larger employer, and does recruit to back office / admin roles.

If you intended to contact Devon and Cornwall police, their FOI email address is [email address]. (that is foi @ devon and cornwall .pnn .police .uk without the spaces)

If it is helpful for you to establish which organisation you want to respond, you can find out more about the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner here: http://www.devonandcornwall-pcc.gov.uk/a...

And more about the Devon and Cornwall Police here: https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/you...

Kind regards

Eleanor
