relating to temporary accommodation – nightly rates.

 

In response, please find below the information from Harrogate Borough
Council:

 

1. How many properties do you currently have on Temporary Accommodation?

 

The council currently has 58 households in temporary accommodation. This
is a combination of the council’s own homeless persons’ hostels, Bed &
Breakfast, a private sector provider and an properties leased from
Registered Provider.

 

2. Please can you advise us on the maximum that is paid per night for a
Studio, 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed & 4 Bed?

 

Hostel – bedsit £10.58, 1 bed £11.53, 2 bed £13.62, 3 bed £12.53 per night

Bed & Breakfast  - varies upon room availability

Private Sector Provider - £54.81 per night

Registered Provider - £52.00 per week

 

3. Who are your largest 5 suppliers and how much do you pay them on
average every month?

 

Argyll Guest House, Harrogate

White Horse Inn, Ripon

Days Inn, Wetherby

Eclipse Properties Ltd, Wolverhampton

Leeds Federated Housing Association, Leeds

 

Details on expenditure is available on the council’s website

to be provided as per the exemption under Section 21.
