the end of December 2021 (the last quarterly data publicly available), how
many were placed in accommodation outside of your local authority area?

Q2. Of the households living with children in temporary accommodation in
each of the following financial years, how many were placed in
accommodation outside of your local authority area?

e. 2021/2022

Q3. For the households with children who left a placement in B&B/ hotel
accommodation during each of the following financial years, what was the
average time spent in B&B/hotel accommodation?

a. 2017/2018

b. 2018/2019

c. 2019/2020

d. 2020/2021

e. 2021/2022

The Freedom of Information Act requires us to provide this information to
you within 20 working days of receiving your request. Therefore we will
aim to respond to you by the 05 August 2022.

However, if the information you request is subject to an exemption which
prevents us from releasing it, as defined by the Act, we will issue you
with a Refusal Notice together with your rights of appeal.  

There are circumstances where a fee may be payable by you to cover
administration costs (e.g. printing, copying, postage and packaging). If
this applies to your request we will issue you with a ‘Fees Notice’
requesting payment. The fee must be paid before the information requested
is processed and released. The 20 working day time limit for responding
to your request will be suspended until payment is received.

Further to our response to your request for information, you contacted us
for clarification for the information provided in response to question 3,
i.e., confirmation that the information was for the average stay for
families in B&B accommodation during each financial year (as opposed to
the average stay for temporary accommodation outside of the borough,
