Response

Please find attached our response to the above questions. Please note all
information has been extracted from our accident reporting system under
the category of ‘violence and aggression’ which is a collective term for
both physical and/or verbal acts of aggression.  Reports based on types of
injuries are not easily reportable. In order to attempt to collate this
information would involve checking through hundreds of individual files.
We calculate that this would take in excess of the 40 hours and therefore
beyond the £600 cost limit. We therefore consider this information to be
exempt from disclosure under Section 12 of the Act: Information not held.

Review Procedure

If you are unhappy with the way in which the Council has dealt with your
request, you are entitled to require the Council to review its decision.
A copy of the Council’s review procedures is attached at Appendix I.

Yours sincerely
