On 15th July 2013, Hertfordshire County Council received the following
request for information from you:

 

“1) How many agencies are on the agreed panel and which ones are actually
supplying?

2) How many agencies that have supplied were not on the agreed panel (i.e.
off panel spend)?

3) What was the spend by each agency?

4) When is temporary staffing supply up for re-tender?”

 

Your request for information has been considered under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.  I can confirm that Hertfordshire County Council
does hold the information you have requested and can respond as follows:

 

1) How many agencies are on the agreed panel and which ones are actually
supplying?

There are 45 agencies on the agreed panel with 39 agencies supplying

 

2) How many agencies that have supplied were not on the agreed panel (i.e.
off panel spend)?

Currently NIL

June 2013 saw a last payment of £930 to 1 agency we had on contract (which
ended 31/03/2012) but continued to be used on a local arrangement basis as
part of a framework agreement. This agreement/arrangement is not being
extended.

 

3) What was the spend by each agency?

Please see the attached Adobe document called "Spend Report by Supplier"
for the period 08/04/13 to 21/07/13

 

4) When is temporary staffing supply up for re-tender?
The temporary staffing supply contract commenced 1st April 2013 for a four
year period with a possible extension of two years
