Television drama filming at Grange Lido

The request was successful.

Dear South Lakeland District Council,

I noticed yesterday (Wednesday 31st October) that an ITV production company has been using Grange Lido for filming for their new crime drama series The Bay. I would like to know which department at SLDC receives, responds to, and approves such requests. I would also like to know if this is a commercial arrangement, and if so what rate is charged for the use of the lido, the promenade and the car park. Finally I would like to know if the sum paid by the production company will go to SLDC's general coffers or be allocated for expenditure in Grange-over-Sands itself?

Yours faithfully,
Anne Nichols
