I would like to request the following information pertaining to all schools over the period September 2015 to April 2016
1) The amount spent on temporary or external teaching agency staff
2) The agencies the school have used for the provision of these staff.
If data is not available for the requested dates i would be grateful for the most up to date data.

Please find the Council’s response below :
I would like to request the following information pertaining to all
schools over the period September 2015 to April 2016
1) The amount spent on temporary or external teaching agency
staff
The expenditure as recorded on the Council’s ledger in the period
September 2015 to April 2016 is as follows:
Council Supply Teachers: £1,483,373
External Supply Agency teachers: £3,638,506
Total: £5,121,879
2) The agencies the school have used for the provision of these
staff.
This information is not held by the Council.
If data is not available for the requested dates i would be grateful for
the most up to date data.
