Tax payers money

The request was refused by Department for Work and Pensions.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please provide evidence. for every DWP generalist SEO post, advertised on Civil Service Jobs throughout September 2022 and October 2022:

- evidence showing advert was shared with Surplus staff, including the advert

- evidence showing advert was shared with internal staff, including the advert

- evidence that no one internally had the skills to undertake the role

- business case supporting the decision to advertise externally, the requirement for a permanent recruit rather than fixed term

- evidence supporting decision relating to value for money.

This period is important, as the Department was aware staff reductions are required.

Yours faithfully,

David Smith

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Tax payers money'.

I have asked for information that covers a period of two months. The number of vacancies placed on civil service jobs by DWP is in single digits. Your HR department would keep records of vacancies placed and something confirming all the actions required by the person placing the job has been taken before advertising. This would be captured and held centrally.

If you still feel the FoI requests exceeds the cost limit. Then please let me know how many vacancies where advised over the requested period.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

David Smith
