Our response

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any information without first seeking clarification.
You have asked about communications containing data on certain costs. Can you please
clarify specifically what type of communications you are looking for?

Taxes collected by HMRC are not general y linked to spending initiatives by other
government departments. However, in the 2018-19 tax year, receipts from the Soft Drinks
Industry Levy (SDIL) were assigned to the funding of the Healthy Pupils Capital Fund
(although this is no longer the case). Your query mentions the years 2018 to 2023. Is your
query confined to SDIL during the 2018-19 tax year, or are there other taxes that you are
enquiring about?

Apologies for the delay in clarification enabling you to provide transparency and accountability without delays – we can now verify that

minimum performance standards for the acoustics of school buildings, and describes the normal means of demonstrating compliance with the Building Regulations

As government funding was supposed to be associated with building standards and acoustics we are looking for data on communication related to spending public funds associated with tax raised being a benefit to
Healthy Pupils Capital Fund
schools upgrade their sports facilities
access to top quality PE equipment
From any product taxed 2018 to 2023
