Tax contribution from the vaping industry
Dear HM Revenue and Customs,
I am writing to formally make a Freedom of Information request regarding the amount of tax contributed by the vape industry, by which I mean vape manufacturers and upstream value chain companies.
A CEBR report finds that the industry paid £310 million in tax in 2021, including tax paid by businesses and employees in the industry. Is there a more up-to-date figure of how much tax revenue vape companies contribute, excluding tax paid by their employees?
Yours faithfully,
