Dear Mr Gasson,
RE: Your Information Request
Thank you for your emails received today regarding targets for psychosis and talking therapies
regarding Psychosis. We have aggregated your two requests as one request, as they are regarding
the same issue made to the same organisation under the requirements of the FOI Act (2000).
1. Under the Freedom of Information Act, can you clarify how the Trust has produced figures and
reporting access to non-pharmaceutical therapies from the diagnosis of Psychosis?
We are not able respond to this question. The term Psychosis is not a specific diagnosis but rather
an umbrella diagnosis covering many conditions and presenting issues. For information about
Psychosis services and PICuP services, please click on the following links

2. Under the Freedom of Information Act, can you clarify how the Trust has produced figures and
reporting access to non-pharmaceutical therapies from the diagnosis of Psychosis in order to meet
the to meet the recommendations regarding access to CBT and family therapies?
Please refer to the response to question 1 above.
3. Do those times vary between CHMT, Piccup and Leo?
Please refer to the response to question 1 above.
4. How many patients do not receive CBT or family therapy according to which of those three
services they are seen in?
As regards to how many patients receive CBT or family therapy. The Trust wide data of service
user numbers and waiting times by type of therapy are not collated across the different services
within the Trust. The Trust runs four large Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT)
services which provide primary care level psychological therapies across the four London Boroughs
of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Croydon. Data on those services can be found at

Act 1988. You are free to use it for your own purposes, including any non-commercial research you
are doing and for the purposes of news reporting. Any other reuse, for example commercial

publication, would require the permission of the Trust. This may be done by writing to the
Information Governance Office at the above address.
