Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
You will remember the above scheme started by PM David Cameron.

Can you tell me if Wirral took part in the scheme? And if so
How many refugees did the council take?

Yours faithfully,
GT

Dear G Taylor

We write in response to your information request regarding the Syrian
Refugee Resettlement Programme.

We can confirm that Wirral Council originally signed up to the Syrian
Refugee Resettlement Programme as part of a Liverpool City Region
programme response.  Wirral’s original commitment to that scheme was for
100 Syrian individuals.  Wirral accepted 104 individuals and a recent
decision has been taken to accept a further 50 households, again as part
of an extension to the LCR programme.

Yours sincerely

Dear InfoMgr, FinDMT,
Thank you for that Lynnette

Can you tell me what the Liverpool Region Program is? How many local councils have signed up to it? And how I contact them for more information?

Regards GT

Yours sincerely,

G Taylor

Why has this been marked as only partially successful? You received everything you asked for, have you not?

Dear G Taylor

Further to your email of 18 December 2018, I can advise that the Liverpool City Region approach being taken for the Syrian Vulnerable Resettlement Programme comprises Liverpool City Council, Halton, St Helens, Sefton, Knowsley and Wirral Councils.

As part of the LCR programme it was agreed 510 individuals would be assisted by the LCR Local Authorities and this has extended recently with Wirral pledging a further support to 50 individuals.

I would advise if you wish to make similar enquiries with the other LCR authorities you should do this via the relevant FOI pages as follows:
