Synthetic Pitches
Dear Rainhill High School, Rainhill, Prescot,
Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to know
a) how much the recent installation of synthetic sports pitches cost?
b) A breakdown of how this was funded.
c) If this was funded fully or in part by the schools exisiting budget, what impact did this have on other areas of funding within the school, e.g which areas if any had their funding cut
Yours faithfully,
A Woods

> Capital funding is held as a separate part of the whole school budget
and has been contributed to over a number of years as part of both the
authorities and Governors commitment to the infrastructure of the school.
The capital expenditure outlined above has therefore had no impact on
other areas of the school budget, which is in line with the Governors aim
of ensuring teaching and learning is prioritised when making spending
decisions in to enable us to maintain our excellent offer to pupils.
