Dear Highways England Company Limited,

It's clear you're trying to avoid the issue and this return of may document is some kinda get out where you don't explain what you searched or how.

In 2016 you said SVD would be standard on smart motorways going forward. what information do you possess about that cause it doesn't look as though there was any SVD used or available.

So just tell me what SVD was in use in 2016 and what was then going to be used and what is being used now and when this started. who makes it. what roads its fitted on, where on them and when. who fits it. I'll see if that helps me

Yours faithfully,

Edward Cole

Mr Wilson told a 2016 hearing SVD would be standard on smart motorways going forward.
It was not, it was not available. It has still not been fitted on some.
In 2016 Mr Wilson implied SVD would be retrofitted. It was not.
Mr Sullivan said it has not been worked out how to retrofit the equipment.
It could not have been retrofitted in 2016 I am after all the information that will address the hearing in 2016 being given false information, all the information about retrofitting since before 2016 to the present. What information was held about retrofitting, trying to retrofit and the information Mr Sullivan got.
