Suspension of parking bays Station Street 2023
Dear Newham Borough Council (NBC),
I would like to request information under the FOI Act 2000 - on the procedures followed by the LBN for suspending the parking bays opposite Unex Tower on Station Street, E15 from 03/11/2023 to 07/11/2023.
In particular, I would like to request information on the following:
1. When was the request for parking bay suspension received?
2. What is the normal procedure followed by NBC for parking bay suspension requests?
2a. What is the minimum period of notification to the public for any change(s) in parking restrictions?
2b. What are the procedures NBC is expected to follow by law, such as displaying signs for change of parking restrictions, yellow signs, etc. and has NBC obtained the Secretary of State for Transport's authorisation for said signage?
3. Procedure followed by NBC for suspending parking bays on 03/11/2023, when were the yellow signs put on display - date and time please with photographic evidence
