Suspected Universal Credit errors reported by local authorities

Currently waiting for a response from Department for Work and Pensions, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

It has been reported in the media that Tower Hamlets notified the Department of more than 700 suspected Universal Credit ("UC") errors over an 18 month period:

RFI1: Does the Department record suspected UC errors of the type covered in this story in this story (i.e. from local authorities) and if so how?

RFI2: If it is possible within S.12 cost limits please disclose how many suspected UC errors have been reported to the Department by local authorities in the period 01 January 2019 to 30 June 2019.
