Simon Carney, Charity Commission for England and Wales

Dear Mr Walker,

Many thanks for your FOI request regarding the appointment process (and
related details) in relation to the Commission's Chair, Dame Suzi
Leather. With sincere apologies, and due partly to a technical glitch (or
perhaps my own technical inadequacy), I will not now be able to respond
substantively until next week. I thank you in advance for your
understanding and patience.

With best wishes and my apologies again. Have a good weekend,

Simon

Simon Carney, Charity Commission for England and Wales

Dear Mr Walker,

Please accept my further apologies for the further delay in responding to
you. As you may have seen on the news last week, our offices at 30
Millbank were caught up in the student protests and violence, requiring us
to close them for the majority of last week. We are back in business now,
but I am behind with my tasks - I hope to respond to your request
substantively by early next week, if I can.

My apologies again for the delay,

Simon

John

Seems that your request may have been caught up in the 'restructuring' exercise effecting all parts of the UK Civil Service.

That's no excuse for not answering you of course, but it may be an idea to re-submit as a new request - or telephone them direct to remind them you are still waiting.

Very unlikely they could release a copy of Susan Leather's CV/Resume, that would be personal information subject to the Data Protection Act - same would probably apply to most of the information in her application for the job.
