Surveying of counterfeits in £2 coins

Waiting for an internal review by Royal Mint of their handling of this request.

Dear Royal Mint,

I would like to know

(i) dates (month and year is sufficient) of conduction of any surveys that have been conducted into the prevalence of counterfeits in £2 (two pound) coins since their creation as a major coin in 1997;

(ii) full results of these surveys and details of the sampling method and sample size(s).

As soon as possible please.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Geoffrey

Dear Royal Mint,

You should have responded promptly to this request, and at least within 20 working days. I haven't even received an acknowledgment from you.

I'm considering requesting an internal review and writing to my MP. I note you did reply promptly to Cardsave's detailed FOI about coin counterfeiting in December 2012, why are you treating me differently?

Yours faithfully,

Mr Geoffrey

Dear Royal Mint,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Royal Mint's handling of my FOI request 'Surveying of counterfeits in £2 coins'. This was not responded to promptly and not even by 5 January as it should have been.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Yours faithfully,

Mr Geoffrey
