Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 5
December 2013. We have now considered your request as set out below.
I would like to request data on any surveys on Merton Libraries (local or
national) that have been carried out within the last 5 years. In
particular, I wish to see the data that the survey Councillor Nick Draper
relies on for the winning entry of Merton Libraries.
Please find attached survey results from our Public Library User Survey
(PLUS), which is normally run annually. The survey is run on a 3-year
cycle targeting different age groups or focusing on particular services.
Please note that the survey was not run in 2008 or 2009 and 2013 results
will not be published until March 2014.
The Council also conducts its Annual Residents Survey and the results are
published on the Internet. Results from previous years can be found at:
