Folkestone & Hythe District Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Folkestone & Hythe District Council,

I have observed that a significant number or new motion activated cameras have been installed on the top of Traffic Lights in Kent over the past few weeks. Some of these appear to be motioning the movement of people crossing beneath these lights as well as looking at cars and a number of multi-directional cameras have also been installed at roundabouts and on country roads.

Please provide the following information:

1. The make and manufacturers of all cameras appended to Traffic Lights in Folkestone and details of their purpose and what they are surveilling

2. Details of the make and manufactures of all Multi-directional cameras fitted to lamposts or free standing posts in Folkestone with details of their purpose and what they are surveilling.

Yours Sincerely,

Gary Marshall
