Dear Highways England Company Limited,

I would like to request camera footage from 24/10/2017 between 08.25am and 8.30am. Covering:
Jct 1 West M621
Jct 2 East M621

This is in attempt to recover footage to assist an RTC I was involved in East bound between jct 1 and 2 (Elland Road). Other cameras covering this stretch of the M621 should also be considered part of this request.

dated 24/10/2017 regarding the availability of CCTV footage made under a
FOI request.

 

Your enquiry has been given the reference number of 18550724, please quote
this in any future correspondence regarding this issue.

 

Before we can investigate if there is any CCTV footage available for the
incident you were involved in please be aware that:-

 

- The request must be made within 5 days of the incident as footage can
only be stored for a maximum of 7 days.

- Cameras are installed to view the overall traffic conditions not
individual vehicles.

- The cameras generally pan and zoom so there is limited likelihood of a
camera pointing in the right direction at the right time.

- The level of zoom affects whether registration details are visible.

- Customers will be asked to provide 2 items of ID prior to any images
being released.

 

If you still wish to proceed with a request for footage please complete
the following:

 

- The exact date and time of the incident; 24/10/2017 between 08:25 to
08:30

- The exact location, (e.g. between Jct 1 & 2, 2 miles prior to J4 etc);
M621 eastbound and westbound J1 and J2

- The direction of travel, (e.g. North-bound, clock-wise etc);

- Which lane were you travelling in;

- Your vehicle: (make, model, colour, registration number);

- The other vehicle: (any details or description you may have);

- The nature of the incident;

- Was the incident reported at the time? (If so, to whom and was a
reference number issued?

Grey Peugeot 207 (08 plate)

207 in lane 1 manouvered/strayed into lane 2 making contact with white Seat Ibiza

- Was the incident reported at the time? (If so, to whom and was a

No as no reported injuries and no obstruction to other traffic.
