Supreme Court Incompetence

Waiting for an internal review by Ministry of Justice of their handling of this request.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

In "Durkin v DSG & HFC" last year in the Supreme Court, "supreme" justices ruled unanimously that a default on an individual's credit report won't prevent them obtaining a mortgage.

This is, of course, untrue. They knew well that it was untrue, yet nevertheless they made the ruling.

How should we be dealing with this blatant injustice?

Yours faithfully,

Richard Durkin

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Anyone have any ideas before the riots start?

Yours faithfully,

Richard Durkin

Hi

I have had a similar issue whereby a company has incorrectly reported an active default on my credit file, which led to a mortgage being declined. The default was then corrected a few months later, and I tried to get a mortgage immediately afterwards. I was successful this time. Therefore having an active default is certainly going to cause a mortgage application to fail (although I am sure there are less common lenders who have a higher interest rate who would accept such conditions).

I am currently battling the company for financial loss as a reult of not being able to purchase the property we wanted.

Thanks
S

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Just wondering what action's being taken. It seems a "head in the sand" approach is being taken.

I note that the justices remain while the bankers continue to ignore the law and refuse to pay redress to it's victims.

Yours faithfully,

Richard Durkin
