Supporting statement of ownership for overdue UK bearer securities

HM Revenue and Customs did not have the information requested.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I was wondering if you could supply me with the form references for the UK equivalent of "Supporting Statement of Ownership for UK Bearer Securities" (US form 1071 E of The Dept. of Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt).

Also

UK equivalent of "Request by Fiduciary for Distribution of UK Treasury Securities" (US form 1455 E of Dept. of Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt).

Yours faithfully,

Steve

Dear Steve,

Thank you for your request for copies of the equivalent of two United
States forms (US forms 1071 E and 1455 E of The Dept. of Treasury,
Bureau of Public Debt).

I think these are the US forms to which you refer; we needed to find
them before we could answer your question although strictly we were not
required to do so by the FOI and could have asked you to clarify your
request.

I am afraid that having searched our records we have established that
HMRC does not hold the information.

It may be that it is more appropriate for HM Treasury to answer.
Information about their role and how to make requests can be found here

If you are not happy with this reply you may request a review by writing
to HMRC FOI Team, Room 4/52, 100 Parliament Street London SWIA 2BQ or by
e-mail to [email address] . You must request a review within
2 months of the date of this letter. It would assist our review if you
set out which aspects of the reply concern you and why you are
dissatisfied.
If you are not content with the outcome of an internal review, you may
apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The
Information Commissioner will not usually consider a case unless you
have exhausted the internal review procedure provided by HMRC. He can be
contacted at The Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House,
Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
