I write with reference to your recent Freedom of Information Request. 

I am trying to find out how much you currently pay per hour to providers
of supported living service providers.

My questions relate to:

Adults with Learning Disabilities

Adults with Mental Health Needs

Adults with Physical Disabilities

Adults with Complex Health Needs

Adults with Challenging Behaviour

Please see below, the Local Authority’s response.

Newport City Council does not have a set hourly rate for supporting living
provision.  The rates are variable between providers.

Adults with learning disabilities: 

Range £14.40 to  £16.29

Average £15.50

Adults with mental health needs

Range £15 to  £15.50

Average £15.30

Adults with physical disabilities

Range £15.39 to £15.66

Average £15.54

Adults with complex health needs

Range £15.39 to £16.29

Average £15.54

Adults with Challenging behaviour

Range £15.39 to £16.29
