Dear Bradford City Council,

I would like to know how I can become a provider for Bradford City Council.

I have my Supported living accommodation business for 16-18 year old females in Birmingham.

I want to know how I can register as a provider and the process for spot purchase.

Breakdown in how many care leavers were placed out of the borough in 2017/2018, average weekly costs and contact details should I require further details.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Natasha McNair,

Reference no: FOI-NOV71

I refer to your request dated 16 November 2019 00:24 under the Freedom Of
Information Act asking to supply the following information:

Q1 I would like to know how I can become a provider for Bradford City
Council.

Q2 I have my Supported living accommodation business  for 16-18 year old
females in Birmingham. I want to know how I can register as a provider and
the process for spot purchase.

Q3 Breakdown in how many care leavers were placed out of the borough in
2017/2018, average weekly costs and contact details should I require
further details.

The Council’s response is set out below:

Q1 Our Supported Living Accommodation Providers have been selected through
a Dynamic Purchasing System tendering process on the YorTender website
[1]https://www.yortender.co.uk/ which lists our tenders in relation to
these services. The current tendering scheme ended in September 2019 for
new providers. We are in the process of reviewing how we tender for these
services in future and can let you know if the process changes.

Q2 We currently do not have a register of spot purchase providers for
Supported Accommodation for you to join. We try wherever possible to use
our Dynamic Purchasing System Framework Providers to source this type of
service and would only consider spot purchased placements if unable to
find a suitable placement through that framework. However, if you send us
your organisations Information Brochure or Statement of Purpose along with
details of services and costs structure we will keep these details on
file.

Q3 We made 20 placements at a distance from Bradford and it’s immediate
surrounding local authority areas. The average costs of these were £1564
per week.
