Dear FOI,

Hello sorry its a list of providers with the range and mean average.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Jane

FOI, Stoke on Trent City Council

Dear Mr Jane

Thank you for your prompt response.  Please accept our apologies for
reverting back to you again, but your reply has caused a little
confusion.  It seems to be asking for different information from your
original request, which we have attached below.  We appreciate that you
would like a list of providers in relation to your original questions, but
the range and mean average seems to be additional information?

We would be grateful for your further clarification.

Kind regards

Dear FOI,

Hello, sorry it was a list of providers. Please disregard mean and average from my request.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Jane

FOI, Stoke on Trent City Council

Dear Mr Jane

Your request for information ref. SOT69757 about supported living learning
disability care packages

Although we do hold the information that you have requested, we estimate
that the aggregated cost of complying with your request would be more than
£450.  This amount is called the ‘appropriate limit’ and is specified in
regulations.

When it would cost more than £450 to locate, retrieve and extract the
information that is requested, Section 12 of the Freedom of Information
Act allows us to refuse the request.

If you make a new request for a smaller amount of information it may then
be within the appropriate limit, although we cannot guarantee that it
would be and we would have to assess your new request.

Our officers would have to look manually at approximately 120 -130 records
in order to obtain the data requested. We do not hold a detailed breakdown
of costs for each placement in a way that would enable us to answer the
query without interrogating each individual fee and package. We would also
have to go back through records to find start dates.

We estimate that addressing every aspect of your request for each
individual placement would take at least 10 minutes per placement.  As we
have between 120 and 130 placements that would have to be interrogated in
this way, this would take us over the 18 hour cost/time limit.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,
you should write to: The Information Rights Manager, Information Rights
Team, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Floor 2, Civic Centre, Glebe Street,
ST4 1HH, or email [1][Stoke on Trent City Council request email].

If, after contacting us, you are not content with the outcome, you may ask
the Information Commissioner for a decision.  Before doing this, please
see the following link for guidance from the Information Commissioner
relating to how to use your information rights responsibly and
effectively, to enable you to gain the best outcome from the process -
[2]http://ico.org.uk/for_the_public.

Generally, the Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you
have already used our internal review procedure. The Information
Commissioner can be contacted at: The Information Commissioner’s Office,
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, tel: 0303 123
1113 or you can visit their website at [3]www.ico.gov.uk/complaints.aspx.

You can find details of how we handle your personal information by
