Support to frontline EU member states in the Syrian refugee crisis

The request was successful.

Dear Home Office,

The Home Office recently responded to a petition on the government's own petition site with an email that included the following statement,

"the European countries in which they arrive have a duty to provide adequate protection and support to refugees within their territory. The UK stands ready to provide practical support to those frontline Member States who are experiencing particularly serious pressures"

I hereby request data on financial and logistical (and any other) support that has been provided to frontline EU Member States as described in this statement. In particular would be Greece but I would be pleased to be informed of any support provided to any EU member country that has been receiving large numbers of refugees in the recent 'Syrian Crisis'.

Yours faithfully,

Rob Davidson

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Support to frontline EU member states in the Syrian refugee crisis'.

It has been almost two months since the case was taken up by a case worker and this seems like an inordinate amount of time for this request as well as failing the time scales set out legally for such FOI requests.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Yours faithfully,

Robert Davidson
