Our response

This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The FoI Act (section 12) specifies a cost limit for complying with a
request for information of £450 (18 hours). From our preliminary
assessment, we estimate that compliance with your request would exceed the
appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of information Act
2000. This is because of the volume of data involved and because the
occupancy rate charged is not set by the Council but by the third sector
providers. To provide you with information we would need to contact all
providers and ask that they compile and send us the information for all
relevant accommodation and we would be dependent on their providing us
with this information and we estimate that for all providers to answer the
questions would globally exceed the 18 hour limit, without taking into
account additional potential time involved in chasing up information not
received. Therefore we are refusing your request and this email acts as a
refusal notice

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request for information,
please contact the h&f InTouch team within 40 working days of receiving
this response. They will consider the matters raised and decide whether
they are referred to the Council's Information Manager for an internal
review.

You can write to the h&f InTouch team at Room 229, Hammersmith Town Hall,
King Street, London W6 9JU, or email: [Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council request email]. If you are

also do this online: ‎[1]Click here to complete the form‏

You also have the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner at: The
Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane,
Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. Tel: 0303 123 1113. Website:
[2]www.ico.org.uk/concerns/. There is no charge for making an appeal. The
ICO may ask you to contact Hammersmith and Fulham, so we can complete an
internal review, before the ICO investigates the matter.
