I am writing in response to your request dated 15 January 2018.  This has
been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You asked for the following information:

Please can you confirm what your total spend on agency supply teachers was
during the  period 1st September 2017-31st December 2017

Please can you confirm the spend of each school in your authority for this
period broken down into 'Kirklees Supply spend' and 'Agency spend'?

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

1.       Please can you confirm what your total spend on agency supply
teachers was during the  period 1st September 2017-31st December 2017

Total spend on agency supply teachers during September to December 2017
was £1,702,727.76

2.       Please can you confirm the spend of each school in your authority
for this period broken down into 'Kirklees Supply spend' and 'Agency
spend'?
