• Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised?
• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract?

There are detailed in the specification document that is attached. This
document was requested in Point 5

 

 2. Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and
were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages.

ICL UK Sales Ltd. Compass Minerals UK, Siwa Rock Salts all submitted. The
awarded suppliers were ICL UK Sales Ltd and Compass Minerals UK.

 

 3. Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the
start of the contract to the current date.

2021/22 - £1,808,405.00

2022/23 - £1,229,979.00

2023/24 - £806,897.00 – As of 10/03/2024

 

 4. Start date & duration of framework/contract?

01/06/2021 to 31/05/2025

 

 5. Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification
given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised?

There is no extension

 

 7. Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s)
are being either extended or renewed?

There is no option to extend as a framework can only be for a maximum of 4
years therefore this contract will be re-procured. Please refer to

as this where our Forward Procurement Plan (FPP) is published on a
quarterly basis. Once the service area have contacted us and requested us
to procure this service then it will be added to our FPP.
