Supply Agency Spend
Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
I am interested in the amounts paid by each school in Wirral MBC area to third parties in relation to temporary agency school staffing
cover. My hope is to receive an electronic breakdown of amounts paid through the department's purchase ledger by school from April 2012
to Jan 2013, both amount and agency allocation.
Please can you supply the following information in an excel
spreadsheet format:-
School Name – URN or DFE number – agency/supplier name – total
amount paid

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request detailed below.
Please see the attachment in answer to your query, however please also
note the following:-
1. Two schools have converted to academies during the period requested,
so we can only provide information for the period they were still a
school.
2. Two schools are cash managed and produce their own finance, so we
cannot provide their information. They are Mosslands and Wallasey
School.
3. Agency Supply sheet - where the supplier name is the school name,
these schools pay their own invoices through a chequebook scheme.
Further details can only be provided by the schools.
