Dear Scottish Police Authority,

In 2013 the SPA reported on the number of "supernumerary" senior police officers in PSoS.

Those were officers of Chief Constable, Deputy Chief Constable and Assistant Chief Constable rank.

Could you please confirm how many of those supernumerary officers remain in PSoS as of today's date?

Could you please confirm your definition of "supernumerary"in 2013 and today?

Yours faithfully,

Mike Roulston
