Supermarket planning applications
I would like to make a Freedom of Information request please about planning applications made by the main supermarkets Sainsburys, Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco, Co-Op, Iceland, Lidl, M&S and Aldi, and/or developers working for them to get planning permission for their supermarket stores.
For the last five years may I please have a list of:
i) A list of approved planning applications relating to proposed supermarkets. For each please give the name of the applicant and supermarket chain, the location, the planning reference number, and the floor size of the store building (in square foot).
ii) For each, please provide a breakdown showing if subsequent planning applications were submitted to modify the floor size of the store building, the modified floor size of the store building (in square foot applied for, and the status of the application to modify (for example, but not limited to: awaiting decision, approved but pending/incomplete, approved and built/complete, approved but withdrawn).

The Local Planning Authority has not collated the data in the form requested. This information requested is already public information and is contained within the Planning Register which is on the Brighton & Hove City Council website. The register is searchable. Any individual application can be viewed at Hove Town Hall. These can be make available within 48 hours. Please call 01273 292222 to make an appointment
