Superfast Broadband for Exchange Only Lines
Dear Department for Culture, Media and Sport,
I have found it extremely hard to find any information on the governments strategy for superfast broadband roll out to exchange only lines (EOL). There is much information about overall national targets for superfast roll out and many regional programmes and community funded schemes but none of these seem to address EOL.
Can you please respond with the number of EOLs nationally that are:
1. Broadband capable
2. Superfast broadband capable
3. Planned dates for rolling out superfast broadband for those lines that are not superfast capable.
As someone that is connected to a fibre enabled exchange (Great Horkesley) via an EOL it is very frustrating to have no information about when I might be allowed to enter the digital age.
Yours faithfully,
Tim Sillitoe
