Sunderland Councils CEO Irene Lucas Commissioned an Independent Investigation regarding my accusations of Fraud and Corruption

The request was refused by Sunderland City Council.

Dear Sunderland City Council,
Sunderland City Council’s Chief Executive Officer Irene Lucas commissioned an investigation by Wilkin Chapman LLP into my accusations of fraud and corruption within the council.

I was given the opportunity of identifying the areas to be investigated. I suggested six areas of importance. The council agreed to investigate four of the areas.

They refused to investigate why they had spent 56 million pounds on gagging orders in the last six years and the fraud involving the council and Wearside Women in Need.

Please provide the report commisioned by the CEO, produced by Wilkin Chapman LLP.

Yours faithfully, Len Lowther

Dear Solicitor - Freedom of Information,
'Electoral Fraud'
Sunderland Council’s CEO & Returning Officer Irene Lucas
is refusing to release the results of an independent investigation into allegations of corruption within the Council. If it’s her intention to refuse the electorate access to the report on corruption until after the May elections she will be violating the principles of democracy.

'Electoral Fraud' Although technically the term 'electoral fraud' covers only those acts which are illegal, the term is sometimes used to describe acts which are legal, but considered morally unacceptable, outside the spirit of an election or in violation of the principles of democracy.

Yours sincerely,

Len Lowther

Dear Solicitor - Freedom of Information,
As the council has fail to respond I am now taking this to the relevant authority.

Yours sincerely,

Len Lowther

Dear Solicitor - Freedom of Information, Please confirm that Sunderland Council has not received a report from Wilkin Chapman. This is a simple request and can be a yes or no answer therefore as Sunderland Council has failed to respond appropriately to this request so far I ask for a swift reply.

As previously stated because the council had refused to acknowledge my correspondence I have started to take the issues to another authority. If you can confirm you are OR are not in receipt of the report into corruption produced by Mr Goolden. Partner Wilkin Chapman I can take the appropriate actions.

Yours sincerely,

Len Lowther
