Dear Sunderland City Council,
Sunderland City Council’s Chief Executive Officer Irene Lucas commissioned an investigation by Wilkin Chapman LLP into my accusations of fraud and corruption within the council.
I was given the opportunity of identifying the areas to be investigated. I suggested six areas of importance. The council agreed to investigate four of the areas.
They refused to investigate why they had spent 56 million pounds on gagging orders in the last six years and the fraud involving the council and Wearside Women in Need.
Please provide the report commisioned by the CEO, produced by Wilkin Chapman LLP.
Yours faithfully, Len Lowther
