Sunderland Council application for CCF Funding
Dear Big Lottery Fund,
Dear Big Lottery Fund - Freedom of Information,
An application was submitted to the CCF on 13/05/13 by Sunderland City Council for £95k toward a total project cost of £192k. The purpose of the pilot is to engage, train and build SMEs in the low carbon economy.
Can you confirm what the status is of this application for funding. The funding is in my opinion to be used partly to build first floor offices of 240 sq meters which have received planning approval which does not conform with building regulations. Building Regulations require a lift to these offices yet the planning approval does not require a lift be installed.
The building could not be considered low carbon as this link shows there is no electrify supply and business operation is by diesel generators. As for low carbon I will also state that although a power supply is available Sunderland Pier repairs are also being undertaking by use of diesel generators.
