Summary of Spending in Northern Ireland
Dear Her Majesty's Treasury,
On, or around 26 June 2017, the Conservative government signed a "Confidence and Supply" agreement with the Democratic Unionist Party.
Part of this agreement included spending pledges of £1billion for roads, broadband internet, health reform and reducing poverty in Northern Ireland along with a commitment to maintain funding for Northern Irish farmers even after the end of EU agriculture subsidies.
Please could you detail monies which have been paid to date (12th Sep 2019), not allocated or ring-fenced, but actually drawn down by appropriate departments or bodies in NI with regards roads, broadband internet, health reforms and reducing poverty?
Could you also indicate the any funding for farmers which has similarly been actually drawn down (not merely allocated)?
Yours faithfully,
Gareth Hay

Dear Her Majesty's Treasury,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Her Majesty's Treasury's handling of my FOI request 'Summary of Spending in Northern Ireland'.
I find it incredulous that the HM Treasury has responded to the effect "we don't keep track of money distributed". It would appear to be the primary function of the department.
I invite you to review your prior response and perhaps think again.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...
Yours faithfully,
Gareth Hay

Dear FOI Requests,
I understand that there is no time limit on internal reviews, however, you did anticipate that you would have conducted this by now.
Can you confirm that the process is still ongoing and give a new estimate for a response?
Yours sincerely,
Gareth Hay
